L'edifici és un llindar. Una franja neta de vidre amb plasma fotovoltaic que emmarca l'horitzó. Un edifici restaurant-pont, una espurna a l'albada, una flama al capvespre.

Dins del marc del concurs internacional de Jardins: Grand-Metis 2020: Aquest projecte té dos propòsits: Submergir el visitant en un entorn màgic, un cop ha creuat els límits.

A través dels sentits de la vista i l'olfacte situem el visitant en un nou camp, un espai per despertar els racons del cervell que potser estaven tancats. A través de l'oïda notarem com el vent juga amb les cintes i com mou els límits a voluntat, amb la vida mateixa.

I ho aconseguim amb una geometria clàssica en planta, amb un triangle equilàter, amb una geometria més complexa en alçat amb l'ús de catenàries. I utilitzant globus d'heli per mantenir dempeus els límits platejats. I de vegades la porta que se'ns obre màgicament penja d'un fil.

El projecte està dissenyat per minimitzar el seu cost, una estructura perimetral de fusta, que es converteix en un banc, tanca una zona de plantació d'herbes aromàtiques. Mitjançant 33 ganxos metàl·lics per carrega, fixem les cintes platejades a cada costat. Als tres extrems de l'estructura tenim tres cables, que a la part superior es connecten entre els extrems formant tres corbes catenàries. Així, la proposta també pot ser una oportunitat per explicar física i matemàtiques.

A la nit, amb una il·luminació mínima, podeu aconseguir un efecte atractiu, elegant i màgic.

Within the international competition of Gardens: Grand-Metis 2020: This project has two purposes: To immerse the visitor in a magical environment, once he has crossed the limits.

Through the senses of sight and smell we place the visitor in a new field, a space to awaken the corners of the brain that may have been closed. Through the ear we will notice how the wind plays with the ribbons and how it moves the limits at will, with life itself.

And we achieve this with a classical geometry in plan, with an equilateral triangle, with a more complex geometry in elevation with the use of catenaries. And using helium balloons to hold the silver boundaries standing. And sometimes the door that opens to us in magic hangs by a thread.

The project is designed to keep its cost to a minimum, a wooden perimeter structure, which becomes a bench, encloses an aromatic herb planting area. Using 33 metal hooks by lade, we fasten the silver ribbons on each side. At the three ends of the structure we have three cables, which at the top are connected between the ends forming three catenary curves. Thus, the proposal can also be an opportunity to explain physics and mathematics.

At night, through minimal lighting, you can achieve an attractive, elegant and magical effect.

Proposed aromatic plants: Rosemary, thyme, broom and lavender.

Es reforma un castell, i s’afegeix una escletxa nova a la base del castell. Una línia de llum que aporta els usos comuns a la instal·lació i connecta verticalment cap a les estances reformades de la part superior del castell de Rocamandolfi.

A castle is renovated, and a new slit is added to the base of the castle. A line of light that provides common uses to the installation and connects vertically to the renovated rooms in the upper part of the Rocamandolfi castle.

Un edifici que es basa en els ancestrals edificis alts japonesos. Plataformes que es van alçant fixades en un nucli central. Les plataformes són espais diàfans que es van alternant amb terrasses en altura. El nucli central és un espai permeable i estructuralment sòlid i amb flexibilitat per adaptar-se als moviments sísmics.

El projecte situat a la parcel·la entre els carrer de Venus i la Rambla de la Mina de Sant Adrià del Besòs té les següents intencions:

Conseguir uns edificis amables, amb certa noblesa, ben orientats.

Deixar lliure bastant espai exterior ampli per poder ser passejat, jugat, rigut i gaudit pels veïns.

Els edificis es divideixen en dues parts, un sòcol de maó vist, i una part superior revestida de calç. En les darrers dues plantes l'edifici s'inclina per atenuar l'efecte d'alçada. Aquest gest i el de suavitzar els balcons aporten un caràcter amable a l'entorn. Les línies "toves" sovint ajuden a tranquil·litzar zones tensionades.

The project located on the plot between Venus Street and Rambla de la Mina in Sant Adrià del Besòs has the following intentions:

To achieve friendly buildings, with a certain nobility, well oriented.

To leave enough free outdoor space for residents to walk, play, laugh and enjoy.

The buildings are divided into two parts, a base of exposed brick, and an upper part covered in lime. On the last two floors the building is tilted to attenuate the effect of height. This gesture and that of softening the balconies add a friendly character to the environment. The "soft" lines often help to calm tense areas.

El jardí consisteix en un banc continu. El banc genera un recorregut, zones de descans i algunes zones de plantació de vegetació. L'objectiu de la proposta és aconseguir un resultat bo, útil i sostenible. Vaig optar per un material simple (pedra emmotllable, formigó). El banc fa 150 metres de llargada i 45 cm d'alçada. La superfície la part superior està polida. I una amplada de 30 cm. El banc també serveix com a contenidor de terra per plantar flors com la Primula, el Crocus o la Viola tricolor. Els arbres (Salix carpea) i els arbustos (Philadelphus coronarius) són situats a les zones circumdants on el banc genera un ambient molt agradable. Per completar el jardí, la gespa plantats (a la carretera i en zones on no hi ha flors) i alguns Trachycorpus fortunei. També es dissenya una petita estructura metàl·lica on creixen plantes enfiladisses i flors. El resultat de la proposta com un banc de jardí, un lloc especial on pots caminar, seure, llegir, reflexionar i desconnectar.

The garden consists of a continuous bench. The bench generates a path, rest areas and some areas for planting vegetation. The aim of the proposal is to achieve a good, useful and sustainable result. I opted for a simple material (moldable stone, concrete). The bench is 150 meters long and 45 cm high. The surface of the upper part is polished. And a width of 30 cm. The bench also serves as a soil container for planting flowers such as Primula, Crocus or Viola tricolor. Trees (Salix carpea) and shrubs (Philadelphus coronarius) are located in the surrounding areas where the bench generates a very pleasant atmosphere. To complete the garden, lawns are planted (on the road and in areas where there are no flowers) and some Trachycorpus fortunei. A small metal structure is also designed where climbing plants and flowers grow. The result of the proposal as a garden bench, a special place where you can walk, sit, read, reflect and disconnect.

La proposta era un repte. En una parcel·la de 70 m2, gairebé quadrada i en cantonada, es vol construir un edifici de PB+2+golfes i terrasses. Es volen fer dos habitatges tipus dúplex i un altre tot a planta baixa. Totes tres amb accés independent des del carrer. Tots aquests requeriments amb un pressupost més que baix. La proposta intenta aconseguir un edifici atractiu, elegant, senzill i amb la configuració d‟uns espais lluminosos sempre connectats visualment amb l‟exterior; evitant una compartimentació excessiva. Es potencien les obertures a la cantonada i es projecta un arrambador ceràmic en planta baixa per ennoblir i protegir la zona més propera als vianants. La resta de façana està acabada amb un arrebossat de calç. Tot està pensat perquè sigui un edifici que perduri en el temps.

The proposal was a challenge. On a plot of 70 m2, almost square and on a corner, they want to build a building with ground floor + 2 + attics and terraces. They want to build two duplex-type homes and another one all on the ground floor. All three with independent access from the street. All these requirements with a more than low budget. The proposal tries to achieve an attractive, elegant, simple building and with the configuration of bright spaces always visually connected to the outside; avoiding excessive compartmentalization. The openings on the corner are enhanced and a ceramic railing is planned on the ground floor to ennoble and protect the area closest to pedestrians. The rest of the facade is finished with lime plaster. Everything is designed to be a building that will last over time.

El nou edifici està situat entre l'avinguda Diagonal, el carrer Aragó i el carrer Marina de Barcelona. El gratacel mesura 100 m d'alçada. Ocupa part d'un triangle de l'Eixample. Aquestes zones residuals de l'Eixample Cerdà són un lloc ideal per ubicar-hi edificis alts. En aquest cas, es van eliminar alguns edificis davant del mar a la zona més propera al fòrum, al carrer Josep Pla. Amb aquesta operació vam crear un espai molt més amable amb les persones i la seva relació amb el mar. Aquests edificis d'oficines són substituïts pel nou edifici situat a l'avinguda Diagonal al seu hàbitat.

El gratacel mesura 100 m d'alçada. Un edifici nou construït amb materials reciclats. Un edifici que produeix electricitat. Un edifici que no té aire condicionat. Un edifici senzill. Un edifici auster. Un edifici que, en la seva millor posició, es troba sota les estrelles sobre la teulada lliure.

Un edifici que té un dipòsit sota la teulada, que subministra aigua a la salut, que és un dipòsit d'emergència i aïlla tèrmicament l'edifici des de dalt. Un edifici que està relacionat amb l'avinguda Diagonal. Un edifici geomètricament inclinat per rebre el sol i protegir els vianants de la pluja, és un edifici solidari en totes direccions. La façana està plena de vegetació que actua com a filtre. Aquesta vegetació es barreja amb arbres de gairebé el parc. L'estructura de l'edifici és perimetral per aconseguir plantes completament lliures connectades amb una connexió vertical. Aquesta estructura esquelètica actua com a filtre solar.

The new building is located between Diagonal Avenue, the Aragon street Marina street in Barcelona . The skyscraper measure 100m of height. It takes up part of a triangle to the 'Eixample'. These residual areas of Eixample Cerdà are a great place to locate high buildings. In this case, remove some buildings front of the sea in the area closest to the forum, at Josep Pla street. A building that its better ground stands under the stars on the free roof. A building that has a tank under the roof, which supplies water to health, which is a deposit of emergency and thermally insulates the building from the top. A building which is related to the Diagonal avenue. A building that geometrically inclined to receive the sun and to protect pedestrians from rain, is a building solidarity in all directions. The façade is full of vegetation that acts as a filter this vegetation mixs with trees of nearly park. The structure of the building is a perimeter to get completely free plants conect with a vertical connection. This skeleton structure acts as a sun filter.

L'edifici, situat al carrer Marroc 124, amb una façana direció mar (SE) i l'altra muntanya (SO), aprofita les característiques climàtiques del lloc, i està concebut per adaptar-se al barri, i interpretar i integrar les preexistències i el tarannà del Poblenou (Composició, materialitat i color). És un edifici que s'apropa a la autosuficiència energètica, neix amb la premisa de l'austeritat, minimitzant el número de plantes (5+ Coberta, 25m d'altura), racionalitzant els espais, i utilizant sistemes constructius àgils, sostenibles i resilients.

The building, located at 124 Marroc Street, with one facade facing the sea (SE) and the other facing the mountain (SW), takes advantage of the climatic characteristics of the place, and is designed to adapt to the neighborhood, and interpret and integrate the pre-existing features and character of Poblenou (Composition, materiality and color). It is a building that approaches energy self-sufficiency, born with the premise of austerity, minimizing the number of floors (5+ Roof, 25m high), rationalizing the spaces, and using agile, sustainable and resilient construction systems.

Una casa en una parcel·la de 200 m2 als afores de Barcelona. El pendent del terreny dificulta la composició i l’aprofitament de superfícies. En una primera proposta es presenta una casa semienterrada, fet que permet optimitzar els espais interiors i un impacte menor en la morfologia del paisatge.

A house on a 200 m2 plot on the outskirts of Barcelona. The slope of the land makes it difficult to compose and use the surfaces. In a first proposal, a semi-buried house is presented, which allows for optimizing the interior spaces and a smaller impact on the morphology of the landscape.

A la mateixa parcel·la de la Casa a Torre Baró V1, es planteja una segona opció de casa en superfície. Es tracta de tres nivells capiculats, formant un volum que destaca sobre el pendent. Una de les prioritats és tancar-se cap a la parcel·la de la dreta i obrir-se cap a l’orientació est. El tercer nivell s’obre cap al sud-oest mitjançant una terrassa en altura per aprofitar els rajos de sol sense que quedin obstruïts pel pendent del terreny.

On the same plot of the House in Torre Baró V1, a second option for a house on the surface is proposed. It consists of three capitulated levels, forming a volume that stands out on the slope. One of the priorities is to close towards the plot on the right and open towards the east. The third level opens towards the southwest through a terrace in height to take advantage of the sun's rays without being obstructed by the slope of the land.

La proposta vol fer realitat una plaça plena d’experiències. La plaça s’estructura en tres nivells que conformen en planta una imatge que recorda al panot Barcelona. La plaça engloba el quadrat format per les quatre façanes de l’encreuament dels carrers Consell de Cent i Compte Borrell. D’aquesta manera, guanyem un triangle en l’extrem de cada carrer i “fem” que la plaça s’apropiï de part dels eixos verds. A nivell de carrer se supera el 30% de superfície verda i la resta es divideix amb sauló (superfície permeable) i un paviment de pedra que emmarca el quadrat i servei de vorera propera als edificis. Cada dels quatre “pètals” format a base d’el·lipses, està destinat a diferents usos: De joc, amb taules de ping-pong, taules d’escacs, una cistella de basquet i jocs infantils, propers a la sortida de l’escola. De repòs, ja que els pètals estan delimitats per un banc continu. La zona central també disposa d’espai de repòs i lectura. A través de quatre escales estructurals accedim a una passarel·la circular des don podem contemplar la vegetació de la plaça, des d’aquest nivell podem accedir al nivell superior a 5 m des don tenim un mirador perimetral de captació d’energia fotovoltaica i a la vegada el panell exterior servei com a pantalla LED per informació i espectacles de llum. La vegetació dels pètals estarà basada en plantes aromàtiques com el romaní, la farigola, l’espígol o la ginesta. La plaça disposarà també de fonts accessibles. Els animals hi seran benvinguts, i als arbres es col·locaran casetes per ocells.

The proposal aims to create a square full of experiences. The square is structured on three levels that form an image reminiscent of the Barcelona panot in plan. The square encompasses the square formed by the four facades of the intersection of Consell de Cent and Compte Borrell streets. In this way, we gain a triangle at the end of each street and “make” the square appropriate part of the green axes. At street level, more than 30% of the green surface is covered and the rest is divided with souló (permeable surface) and a stone pavement that frames the square and serves as a sidewalk near the buildings. Each of the four “petals” formed by ellipses is intended for different uses: For games, with ping-pong tables, chess tables, a basketball hoop and children's games, near the school exit. For rest, since the petals are delimited by a continuous bench. The central area also has a space for rest and reading. Through four structural stairs we access a circular walkway from where we can contemplate the vegetation of the square, from this level we can access the upper level 5 m from where we have a perimeter viewpoint for capturing photovoltaic energy and at the same time the external panel serves as an LED screen for information and light shows. The vegetation of the petals will be based on aromatic plants such as rosemary, thyme, lavender or broom. The square will also have accessible fountains. Animals will be welcome, and birdhouses will be placed in the trees.

La intenció és provocar una atmosfera especial, atractiva i participativa. La brisa del vent predominant de Coll del Grau companyat a vegades de les brises de la vall del riu Fluvià i del Coll d’Ares faran moure el fullatge i les branques dels roures del Parc Nou. Aquest moviment activarà una il·luminació intermitent, depenent de l’arbitri dels vents. Com si es tractessin de lampírids. Aquesta il·luminació estarà instal·lada en diferents arbres del Parc, així com carillons o campanes de vents, que emetran sons metàl·lics quan les brises despertin. Paral·lelament a aquesta atmosfera de Fons, hi sumarem la intervenció central al roure plantat davant el Museu Volcànic de Fontserè. Aquest instal·lació constarà d’una anella roja lluminosa, com si el nostre roure estigués jugant amb un hula hoop incandescent; captant l’energia volcànica ancestral de la Garrotxa. Aquesta estructura estarà completada amb les llumetes (lampírids) i carrillons; els visitants podran tocar-los i fer que s’activi aquesta il·lumicació intermitent, així com amanir-les amb el so de les campanes de vent. Acompanyant aquest decorat diposarem de tres focus laser de llum roja que s’anirant movent lentament com lots de lava en una eterna cerca. Finalment, al parc també s’hi instalaran unes roques per reposar i badar.

The intention is to create a special, attractive and participatory atmosphere. This movement will activate intermittent lighting, depending on the whim of the winds. As if they were fireflies. This lighting will be installed on different trees in the Park, as well as carillons or wind chimes, which will emit metallic sounds when the breezes wake up. In parallel to this atmosphere of Background, we will add the central intervention to the oak tree planted in front of the Fontserè Volcanic Museum. This installation will consist of a luminous red ring, as if our oak tree were playing with an incandescent hula hoop; capturing the ancestral volcanic energy of La Garrotxa. This structure will be completed with the little lights (fireflies) and chimes; visitors will be able to touch them and activate this flashing lighting, as well as tune them with the sound of wind chimes. Accompanying this decoration we will have three red laser lights that will move slowly like lava flows in an eternal search. Finally, the park will also have some rocks to rest and meditate on.

Aquest és un projecte elaborat com una pràctica a l’Escola d’Arquitectura de Barcelona, tot i només haver-lo realitzat al segon any, és un projecte que amb el seus defectes, suporta bé el pas dels anys. Una casa entre mitgeres que s’articula amb tres patis. EL primer, un pati d’accés, el segon, un pati d’aigua, i el tercer, un pati amb vegetació. L’objectiu del disseny és fer un recorregut de l’exterior a l’interior a mesura que l’usuari es va desconnectant del “marc mental” de la ciutat i s'imbueix en un oasi de tranquil·litat que va augmentant a mesura que s’avança dins la casa.

This is a project developed as an internship at the Barcelona School of Architecture, despite only having been carried out in the second year, it is a project that, with its flaws, has withstood the passage of time well. A house between dividing walls that is articulated with three patios. The first, an access patio, the second, a water patio, and the third, a patio with vegetation. The aim of the design is to make a journey from the outside to the inside as the user disconnects from the “mental frame” of the city and immerses themselves in an oasis of tranquility that increases as they move further inside the house.

Es tracta d'un edifici semi-compacte. Recull el bé de la compacitat però cedint certes facetes a la natura. Es tractava de posar en una coctelera, compacitat per optimitzar, baixa altura per integrar, ruralització per aprendre. A nivell d'ordenació a mitja escala, es proposa:

Aportar més dignitat al carrer amb un nou front residencial de baixa altura.

Separar els equipaments de la zona baixa de la parcel·la amb la nova edificació amb un parc natural, al qual els nous habitatges quedaran inclosos.

Es manté la superfície de la zona lúdica de petanca que té una funció important al barri. Ara se situa a la part superior, amb millors vistes, i es busca aportar vida a aquesta part superior de la parcel·la. S'hi accedirà a través d'una nova plaça que serà la Porta superior. És clau que les zones perimetrals de l'actuació gaudeixin d'activitat per donar sentit a les noves àrees. La forma aterrida de l'actuació permet entendre l'actuació com una modificació natural de l'emplaçament, sense ensurts, aquest fet ajuda a l'aparició de terrasses, horts i patis, un retrobament amb allò mediterrani.

A nivell de gran escala: Collserola serà el parc central de Barcelona al futur. Però actualment el seu límit és present en diversos projectes. Les rondes van ajudar a delimitar la muntanya. Encara que es van escapar certes zones edificades. El repte dels propers anys serà fer un pla perquè les edificacions per sobre de la ronda de dalt siguin semi rurals. Això implicaria per exemple, cobertes verdes, baixa altura, ús limitat del vehicle, etc. Per tant aquest projecte s'estudia també com es tracta la zona entre rondes i muntanya, entre rondes i carrer Guineueta, que en aquest cas prenc com a límit. A aquesta zona, la intenció és generar una edificació integrada amb l'entorn. Per finalment arribar a la muntanya pura, sense actuació humana. És una gradació des de les rondes a la carretera de canyelles, un espai natural, però que queda ben delimitat a la part superior. Una peça que intenta influir en futures actuacions en aquest àmbit difús entre rondes i Collserola. Límits clars i edificació ruralitzada. Com a pas intermedi per arribar a Collserola, com aquests llums blaus que hi havia als autobusos nocturns per adaptar l'ull a la llum venint de la foscor. El mateix per adaptar-nos a la muntanya quan venim de la ciutat densa.

La proposta sorgeix l’any 2011. Fruït d’una inquietud per millorar l’entorn. Una proposta d’un hotel en un entorn rural amb tres ingredients, natura, elegància i acolliment. Un arquitectura per ser viscuda i admirada des de la llunyania. Una espurna de desig. Una finestra il·luminada a la vesprada. Ganes de ser-hi.

Aquesta proposta defineix les traces principals d’un edifici destinat a equipament públic en una localitat del Pirineu Català. Es tracta d’una biblioteca en una parcel·la rectangular. EL projecte se centra en definit un edifici que genera un pati interior envoltat de dues ales edificades. Aquesta composició és comuna e localitats del pirineu, per protegir climàticament l’espai interior més privatiu establint, fent partícip el pati del propi edifici.

This proposal defines the main outlines of a building intended for public facilities in a town in the Catalan Pyrenees. It is a library on a rectangular plot. The project focuses on defining a building that generates an interior courtyard surrounded by two built wings. This composition is common in towns in the Pyrenees, to climatically protect the most private interior space by establishing, making the courtyard part of the building itself.
